Demo buchen →The IDD — the European Insurance Distribution Directive (EU) 2016/97, transposed in Germany through § 34d GewO, the VersVermV and the VVG — binds intermediaries, not software providers. FinCore Engine is not an insurance intermediary. The platform is built so that it makes meeting your IDD obligations easier rather than harder.
FinCore Engine acts as a referrer (Tippgeber): at the client's request the software puts them in touch with you, and makes no product-related recommendation itself. It therefore does not carry out insurance mediation within the meaning of § 34d GewO. Mediation — and with it the scope of the IDD — begins with you.
Each row names an IDD obligation and the concrete property of the software that helps with it.
The demands-and-needs test requires you to establish the client's needs before advising. The asset tracker captures exactly that in advance: holdings in property, pension and ETFs, the 25-year projection and the specific shortfall. You start the conversation not from a blank page but from a starting position the client recorded themselves.
Advice must be documented. All interactions from the AI agents run on the same data as the CRM: what was discussed and agreed, on which channel and when, is attached to the lead record rather than sitting in a private mailbox. That makes producing and retaining your advice documentation easier.
The traffic-light rating and the projection follow fixed, traceable rules and factor in ongoing costs. There is no weighting in favour of any provider or product, because the platform carries no products and earns nothing from the sale of any particular one. The result shows a gap — which solution fits it is for you and the client to decide.
Marketing information must be fair, clear and not misleading. Wherever figures appear, they carry the note that the calculations are illustrative, do not constitute investment, legal or tax advice, that returns are not guaranteed and that past performance is not a reliable indicator.
Before making contact, the client learns who they are dealing with: that the platform refers as a Tippgeber, provides no advice, and that responsibility for the content and admissibility of the advice lies solely with the respective consultant under their own authorisations. This is stated in our terms and on About us.
The platform receives no product-dependent remuneration and sells no financial products. A conflict between the software provider's interest and the client's therefore does not arise at platform level. Your own remuneration structure and its disclosure remain your responsibility.
These obligations attach to you personally and cannot be delegated to software.
